Ceramic flowers have been a firm favourite at Three Grey. You can’t kill them, they can hung on walls or used decoratively, adds a pop of colour and tons of texture. Each year I bring some new ones for those who collect this year, its the peony. They are unique and no two the same. This clay bowl is hand made using local stone powders and then fired with wood in a brick oven. Then burnished which is an ancient technique of polishing with a hard stone. This then closes the pores of the clay making it watertight and creates an unique shine and texture without glaze… and very good insulator too. They are truly beautiful and very unique.
